Event funding applications accepted through Jan. 5

Applications for city-allocated special event funding are now available and will be accepted through Jan. 5. Special event funding provides sponsorship dollars to support special events taking place in non-ski season months.

There have been updates, and changes made to the process so applicants are encouraged to carefully read through the guidelines and application materials. Specifically, the funding is no longer required to go toward marketing.

Presentations will be made to the Special Event Funding Committee — made up of Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association staff, chamber board members and City Council members — in January. Visit steamboatchamber.com/contactus to download the application.
