Hayden Council to discuss nuisance ordinance today

The Hayden Town Council is scheduled to meet tonight to consider the second reading of a nuisance ordinance.

The ordinance would allow the town to impose fines on residents who violate sections of Hayden Municipal Code relating to garbage and refuse, weeds and brush and alarm systems. Council members would have to formally adopt the ordinance at a future meeting.

The Town Council also will consider whether to approve the first reading of a five-year franchise agreement with Bresnan Communications to offer cable television.
