Steamboat briefs: Healthcare Foundation seeks award nominees

The Healthcare Foundation for the Yampa Valley will accept community nominations for the 2010 Doc Willett Health Care Heritage Awards from Monday through March 31. The agency will present awards to two people at the second annual Doc Willett Health Care Heritage Awards on Sept. 1 at the Strings Music Festival pavilion. Steamboat’s Over the Hill Gang offers daily ski tours

Steamboat’s Over The Hill Gang offers frees guided skiing seven days a week for skiers older than 50. Meet at 9 a.m. at the chuckwagon across from the gondola, ready to ski. The group skis primarily groomed blues and blacks with a break at 10:45 a.m., lunch at 11:45 and more skiing at 12:30 p.m.
