Partners in Routt County and the Rio Grande Mexican restaurant are joining together for a “Pig-Out 4 Partners Day” today. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of its proceeds to Partners, a nonprofit organization that pairs adult mentors with youths in the community who could benefit from positive role models. Partners officials will be at the restaurant from 5 to 7 p.m.
LIFT-UP and Love, Inc. will distribute free coats
LIFT-UP of Routt County and Love, Inc. will distribute free coats to those who need them at the LIFT-UP Food Bank beginning today and continuing through Nov. 26. One coat per person will be given during regular Food Bank hours, 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Food Bank is at the Lufkin Lift-Up Center at 2125 Curve Court in Steamboat Springs. Museum displaying wildlife photographs
The Tracks and Trails Museum at 129 E. Main Street in Oak Creek is featuring Daniel Ellertson’s wildlife photographs, on display on the Artist’s Wall.
This exciting exhibit is free and open to the public for two months. All are welcome. Call 736-8245, from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, with any questions.
