CMC dean Kerry Hart eyeing other locales
Steamboat Springs — Kerry Hart, dean of Colorado Mountain College’s Alpine Campus in Steamboat Springs, is in the running for not one but three campus presidencies.
New Mexico State University at Carlsbad and Eastern New Mexico State University, in Portales, have listed Hart as a finalist. This comes in addition to Morgan Community College in Fort Morgan, a school that announced Hart’s status last week.
“All together there have been three,” Hart said Wednesday. “There won’t be any others.”
Jozi Deleon, associate provost for New Mexico State University and co-chair of the search committee, said Hart is one of five finalists. Of those five, three or four will be called for more interviews.
