Steamboat briefs: Details emerge in Sunday’s Lynx Pass area accident

— The man injured Sunday in the Lynx Pass area on a South Routt County trail known as “Muddy Slide,” is a 46-year-old Routt County resident, Yampa ambulance crew member Angela Bracegirdle said Monday. Bracegirdle said the man injured his right leg in a motorcycle accident on the trail and was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center in stable condition. Bracegirdle did not release the man’s name because of medical confidentiality laws. No one else was involved in the crash.
