Steamboat briefs: Council reminds of proper use of Green Machines

With the Green Machines at Safeway overflowing with recyclable materials, the Yampa Valley Sustainability Council wants to remind the community that the units are not for commercial use. YVSC and Yampa Valley Recycles ask that people be respectful, and do not leave items on the ground.

The groups suggest that people contact their trash hauler for curbside recycling options or take their items to the Waste Management recycling yard during business hours.
