Farmers market registration is available now online
Registration for the Steamboat Farmers Market opened Jan. 15. All registrations are online and can be accessed using a link at http://www.mainstreetsteamboat.com under the Farmers market tab.
The Steamboat Farmers Market runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday from June 14 through Sept. 19 at the corner of Seventh and Yampa streets. To participate, all vendors must have both Colorado and Steamboat Springs sales tax licenses, and street food vendors must have approval from the Routt County Department of Environmental Health.
Steamboat Farmers Market encourages all vendors of local foods, produce, meat and value-added products to apply as early as possible.
The market reserves the right to limit certain categories of vendors to keep the variety in the market interesting. While vendors are encouraged to sign up for the entire season, random dates are available on a limited basis.
All products are to be made by the vendor, unless the vendor is a member of MainStreet Steamboat. MainStreet Steamboat members may offer products represented in their storefronts, even if they are not made by the vendor.
