Steamboat adoptable pets: Hutch the cat and Reno the dog

Hutch is a 1-year-old, male, domestic shorthair cat who is ready for someone to show him some love and attention. Hutch was surrendered to the animal shelter with four other cats, so he would make a great additional feline to your home. He is a bit shy at first, but  just give him some scratches behind the ears and under his chin, and he’ll come around. He likes to play hide and seek and will teach you that you have more hiding spots in your home than you though.

Reno is a 2-year-old male Husky weighs in at a whopping 72 pounds. He is a fun, flirty, handsome, jumpy, vocal and extremely energetic boy who is ready for an owner who can keep up with him. Routt County Humane Society Staff is still learning about his favorite things, but they do know that he would be a great running buddy. Reno loves his people and hugs them any chance he gets. Reno likes playing fetch and has started doing agility training at the shelter and is constantly impressing the shelter staff with his skills.
