Steamboat adoptable pets: Bretta the cat and Pax the dog

Bretta is a short-haired, senior girl who is estimated to be around 12 years old and weighs 7 pounds. She was found outside very hungry and in rough physical shape with a severely matted coat and wounds on her back. After a great deal of care from the staff at the Routt County Humane Society, Bretta is on the mend, has gained some weight and is sporting a funky haircut to help her wounds heal. Being an older cat, she has learned the ways of the world and how to hold her own along with how to be a sweet and loving companion.

Pax is a 3-year-old, male Belgian Malinois, who weighs about 65 pounds. As an adventure-seeker, Pax is looking for an active home that has time to give him all the love he deserves. He is a cuddler who seems to want nothing more than to be by his person’s side. He would love to hop in your car and head out for a long hike or fishing trip and then snuggle up in bed to watch Homeward Bound.
