Steamboat accountant receives CPA license

Staff Report Steamboat Pilot & Today

Kristara Mielke, who works for Ingalls, Ingalls & Co. in Steamboat Springs, recently received her CPA license.

The CPA certification process requires 2,000 hours of experience verified by a licensed CPA, 150 credit hours of professional education and passing a series of exams in the specialties of regulation, auditing, business concepts, financial accounting and reporting.

Mielke graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2012 and moved to Steamboat Springs in 2014 to join Ingalls, Ingalls & Co., P.C., as a staff accountant.

“Her understanding of complex business problems, her great analytical skills, her commitment to client satisfaction and now, her CPA license make her a respected member of our firm,” Bart and Jeanne Ingalls were quoted as saying in a news release.
