SSWSC Scholarship Day returns Thursday

The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club is celebrating Scholarship Day at the Howelsen Howler Alpine Slide on Thursday. 

All proceeds from the day’s ticket sales will go directly to the SSWSC Scholarship Fund, providing financial need-based support to help youth athletes participate in SSWSC programs. 

The slide is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with ticket pricing as follows:



  • Single Ride — $21 for adults, $17 for youth (13 and under) and military
  • Child Ride-Along (under 48″ tall) — $12 with a paying adult
  • Additional Rides — $10 each
  • All-Day Passes —$45 for adults, $39 for youth, $30 for child ride-alongs
  • Scenic Chairlift Rides — $12

Group rates are available for parties, teams, birthdays and weddings. Children under 2 years old are not permitted to ride.
