SSWSC opens applications for board positions

Sixteen-year-old Michael Smith of the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club took home 10th in the parallel giant slalom race at Howelsen Hill on Jan. 14, 2023. The club has opened applications for two positions on its Board of Directors which can be found through sswsc.org. Applications are due Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023.

The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club has two open positions on its board of directors up for election. Board terms last three years and are open to anyone interested. 

The application deadline is 3 p.m. Wednesday, and applicant biographies will be posted to SSWSC.org by Friday evening. 

To apply, go to the menu dropdown on the club’s website and select ‘Board of Directors’ under the ‘About SSWSC’ tab. The voting process begins 6 a.m. Oct. 9 and closes 3 p.m. Oct. 18.
