Logan Daniel Bankard, a 2015 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School, has been accepted in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Bankard is currently completing his freshman year at the University of Wyoming, where he is studying mechanical engineering and is a member of the shotgun team.
Membership in NSCS is by invitation only and is based on grade point average and class standing.
“NSCS is more than just a symbol or academic achievement," said Stephen E. Loflin, NSCS founder and chief executive officer, in a news release. "Membership gives students access to a number of amazing benefits, including career and networking resources, scholarships, travel and service projects both on campus and in the community."
