Spring flight schedule changes

— Spring flight schedules at Yampa Valley Regional Airport have changed from the schedule described in an article in the April 7 edition of Steamboat Today.

The last ski season jet flights of the winter arrived at the airport west of Steamboat Springs on Monday. Ray Gourley, station manager for SkyWest Airlines, supervises the ground crews that handle United Express flights operated by Mesa Airlines this spring.

Gourley said there would be three daily departures for Denver beginning this week. Scheduled departure times are 6 and 11:20 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The schedule remains the same until April 24 when departure times will be 6:15 and 10 a.m. and 1:40 p.m.

Airline schedules are tentatively set to settle in for the summer and fall on June 7, when United Express departure times shift to 6:30 and 10 a.m. and 12:42 p.m.

SkyWest will begin operating daily roundtrip jet flights between YVRA and Salt Lake City, Utah, as the Delta Connection on June 8. Throughout the summer and fall, flights will depart for Salt Lake at 8 a.m. and 1:20 p.m.
