Sports briefs: Club hockey advances after win

The Moffat County Bulldogs club hockey team recently completed a road sweep of Telluride.

On Saturday, the Bulldogs won, 3-1, and on Sunday defeated Telluride again, by a score of 4-1.

On Saturday, the team will play in Durango during the Rocky Mountain Youth Hockey League “frozen four.”



Other teams in the frozen four include Gunnison, Kremmling and Grand Valley.

Pee-wee wrestling sign-up held today

The Craig Bad Dogs youth wrestling team will be hosting a sign up for the pee-wee wrestling league at 6 p.m. today.



Wrestlers in pre-kindergarten to fourth grade can sign up for $40 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265, 419 E. Victory Way.
