Spinzilla arrives in Steamboat Springs

Balls of yarn await the start of Spinzilla, set to be held at the Bud Werner Memorial Library in Steamboat Springs on Wednesday, Oct. 3.

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Spinzilla will make its way to Steamboat Springs next week.

Spinzilla is a global event that involves teams and individuals competing to see who can spin the most yarn in a week.

Local spinners from Northwest Colorado will gather at Bud Werner Memorial Library from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3. Some will be visiting story times and others will be in Library Hall from 2 and 4 p.m.

Community members are invited to visit the library next week and cheer them on.
