Space available in Sunday’s free owl pellet workshops
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Yampa Valley Crane Festival still has space available in two free owl pellet workshops that will be held at 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, in Library Hall at Bud Werner Memorial Library.
Following HawkQuest’s live owls on the library lawn Saturday, find out what owls eat and how they process their food. Join us for an owl pellet dissection workshop with Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
To sign up for one of the limited spots, stop by the Crane Fest information desk at the library or call Ashley from 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. at 970-294-9806.
