Soroco wrestling team looks to finish strong

— The Soroco wrestling team should have a good opportunity today and Saturday to send multiple wrestlers to state.

With a week off, the Rams were able to heal and prep for one of Class 2A’s toughest regions.

At 103 pounds, returning state qualifier Lauryn Bruggink has a legitimate chance to advance. Bruggink missed almost a month of the season with an elbow dislocation. She returned to action Feb. 3.

Josh Baker at 140 pounds and Tristan Palyo, Dillon Coler, Cody Constine, Colton Martindale and Peyton Martindale also are competing for the Rams.
