The Soroco High School volleyball team easily dispatched DeBeque on the road Saturday, beating the Dragons in three sets: 25-18, 25-18 and 25-7.
Rams volleyball coach Jeannie Jo Logan said her team overcame a sluggish start to finish the match strong.
“We started off a little slow, but really came together by the third set,” Logan said. “We were able to shoot consistently, and we had an awesome serve run that got us 10 points.”
Soroco, 7-8, 4-4, returns home Monday for a 5 p.m. match against cross-county rivals, the Hayden Tigers.
