Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club skier Patrick Duran picked up a win, and teammate Lisa Perricone skied to a second-place finish at an International Ski Federation super-G race Tuesday in Beaver Creek.

Duran led the men’s field in the ability class division for racers 15 and older. Duran finished in 1 minute, 25.07 seconds, distancing himself from runner-up Samuel Sweetser by more than a second.

The Winter Sports Club’s Josh Bryan was third. Thomas Allen placed sixth, and Cory McConnell was ninth, rounding out SSWSC skiers finishing in the top 10.

Perricone finished the super-G course in 1:30.44. Megan McJames won the event in 1:29.07.

Also placing in the top 10 for the Winter Sports Club in the women’s race were Tina Roberts in eighth and Heidi Hillenbrand in 10th.

Tuesday’s super-G at Beaver Creek was a Rocky Mountain Division race, as well as a FIS competition.
