Sk8 Church Apple Jam to provide safe, sober event
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Music, food and skateboards will take center stage Thursday evening when Sk8 Church hosts the Apple Jam, a safe and sober community event.

When: 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30
Where: Sk8 Church, 2851 Riverside Plaza
Cost: $10
“We are going to do a really incredible party here called Apple Jam,” Sk8 Church Executive Director Nathan Bartels said. “It’s kind of like a community highlight. We are gong to have all kinds of different businesses sharing what they do, and we have an insane number of prizes to raffle off.”
The party will run from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Sk8 Church, 2851 Riverside Plaza. There is a $10 entry fee, and raffle tickets will be available. The event is a fundraiser for the church and will feature a performance by DJ Dra-La.
