Shirley W. Prentiss: Great reputation

Dear editor:

With all the news these days about iPhones being stolen by not so stellar people, it is wonderful to experience just the opposite here in Steamboat.

The other day I had lunch with some friends at Sambi. Not only was the food outstanding but the server, Vickie, is the best. A couple of hours later I looked for my iPhone and realized that I had left it on the table at Sambi.

I tried calling, but they were closed at the time. So, my husband and I drove there. It was locked up, but there was a door to the kitchen and some cooks were preparing food. Alex asked me what I needed, and I told him about the iPhone. He said, “Here it is at the cash register.” He was the one who had cleared our table.

Keep it up, Steamboat. You have a great reputation.
