Several car windows in Steamboat reportedly smashed by person with crowbar

— The Steamboat Springs Police Department thinks a person used a crowbar to smash several car windows in recent days.

The first damage was reported Sept. 28 when windows on about five vehicles were smashed at the Fish Creek Trailer Park and at properties on Après Ski Way.

On Friday, another eight vehicles were damaged at properties on Hilltop Parkway, Tamarack Drive and Trafalgar Drive.

A window at a car wash on Trafalgar also was smashed.

No property has been reported stolen, and no suspects have been identified, police said Monday.

Anyone with any information about the window smashing can call the police department at 970-879-4344.
