Selling alcohol to minors: The Record for Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018

7:25 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of an unknown injury vehicle crash.

10:33 a.m. Deputies and Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to a report of a missing person in the area of Steamboat Lake State Park.

12:02 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers conducted compliance checks at local liquor stores to ensure stores are not selling alcohol to minors. Two liquor stores received violations in the check.

5:13 p.m. Officers received a report of a fight at a gas station in the 10 block of Anglers Drive. The fight occurred the previous night. A person reported that he was attacked while trying to break up a fight. Officers are investigating the incident.

Total incidents: 25

  • Steamboat police had 10 cases that included calls for service and officer-initiated incidents such as traffic stops.
  • The Routt County Sheriff’s Office had 7 cases that included calls for service and officer-initiated incidents such as traffic stops.
  • Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue responded to six calls for service.
  • Routt County Search and Rescue responded to one call for service.
  • North Routt Fire Protection District responded to one call for service.
