Search and Rescue accepting applications for membership







Routt County Search and Rescue is accepting applications for new members.

Training begins Sept. 1.

Members assist fellow outdoorsmen is in need of rescue on an average of 60 missions per year.



New recruits will be trained and tested during a six-month probationary period in rope systems, snow safety, motorized vehicles, swift water rescue, radio communication, terrain navigation, downed aircraft and basic first aid.
