Scotty Stoughton: WinterWondergrass thanks Steamboat

I want to take a minute to express our sincere gratitude to the entire community for your overwhelming support of our move here. Our team has been working hard for nine months to deliver an experience to you and your mountain home guests that is truly unique, safe, family friendly, environmentally conscious and a heck of a lot of fun.

The commitment and support we have received from the CEO to the cook, the bus boys to the board members, the bartenders to the resort team has quite honestly been humbling. We now fully understand what makes the community of Steamboat Springs so tight knit and majestic beyond the natural beauty.

We are thrilled to bring in over 26 bluegrass and roots artists from around the country, legends like Sam Bush, Railroad Earth and Leftover Salmon are joined by new acts dominating the national tour scene like Elephant Revival, The Infamous Stringdusters, Fruition and many more. Part of what makes WWG so magical is our choice of talent; we are putting these acts up multiple days so they can enjoy the slopes and western hospitality of Steamboat, not to mention the spontaneous jams that unfold throughout the weekend.

We understand that although we have been planning for months, there may be a few inconveniences to you and we apologize in advance. With attendees coming from over 40 states, some making their first visit to Steamboat, we invite you to join us in welcoming them to WinterWonderGrass.

We pride ourselves in leaving communities cleaner than we found them and hold our attendees responsible for contributing to the positive small-town charm of our host communities: Steamboat Springs and Squaw Valley, California.
