Schrock finishes high in Blue Sky Marathon in Fort Collins

— It was her first marathon, though that was hardly obvious from the results. Steamboat Springs’ Miranda Schrock finished seventh in the women’s division of the Blue Sky Marathon on Sunday in Fort Collins. She finished in 4 hours, 46 minutes and 33.7 seconds, fourth in her age group.

The challenging course included 3,300 feet of climbing and took place entirely on trails.

Steamboat’s Billy Dalzell also finished the race. He placed 35th among the men in 4:41:58.7.
