Routt County United Way’s grant cycle is open

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The 2019 Routt County United Way grant cycle is now open. Each year, United Way accepts program-funding requests from health and human service agencies in Routt County that provide services to area residents that fulfill a human service need and align with the organization’s impact areas: early childhood education, youth success, financial stability and health/crisis services.

United Way offers grants to community programs, community impact organizations and United Way member organizations.

Community programs are limited to an annual funding request from Routt County United Way in an amount not exceeding $1,000, and community impact organizations do not have a dollar limitation on the amount they can request.

United Way member organizations also do not have a dollar limitation on the amount they can ask for their program, but to receive funding, the organization must have a current signed agreement on file with Routt County United Way and be a 501(c)(3) organization.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. March 15.

Visit RouttCountyUnitedWay.org for more information on grant applications and criteria. Organizations that received funding from Routt County United Way in 2018 must also complete a 2018 grant report.
