Tasked with uniting people, ideas and resources to advance the common good, the Routt County United Way is kicking off 2022 with a new grant cycle designed to connect great ideas and programs with needed resources.

In 2021, Routt County United Way funded 40 programs and granted $500,000 to 22 organizations in Routt County.

Nonprofits that specialize in health and human services in Routt County and focus on giving children a strong start; providing youth a safe, healthy and nurturing environment; improving the financial stability of all county residents in need; or expanding access to mental health and crisis services are encouraged to apply.

The United Way’s current grant cycle is open with a new, simplified application process. The new process includes a pre-qualification call to ensure alignment and help guide applicants through the key steps and grant application calls via Zoom.

To get started, call Executive Director Kate Nowak at 970-879-5605 ext 101.

Go to the grant application page on the Routt County United Way website for detailed information. Final applications are due Feb. 24.
