Recommended Stories For You

A. Driving my 1995 Toyota Corolla in a town full of very big SUVs.

A. Sleep until our 13-month-old son wakes up, then change his diaper, get him some breakfast, brew some coffee, let the dogs out and go to work.

Q.Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac; it filled me with wanderlust.

Q. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

A. When you get back from a vacation, immediately start planning your next.

Q. In the Meatloaf song, "I'd do anything for love, but I won't do that," what is that?

A. The Roaring Twenties in New York City — I am utterly enamored with the music and style from that era.
