Steamboat Springs Police Chief Cory Christensen stands in what will soon be the lobby and police records department of the new Combined Law Enforcement Facility. Construction on the project is ahead of schedule and on budget. Police and Routt County Sheriff's Office offices will be integrated in the new building — police commanders' offices will be next to the undersheriff's. The agencies will share meeting space, locker rooms and more. "It's more integrated, than combined if that makes sense," Christensen said in a tour with Steamboat's City 101 program.
