Monday: Baked chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas and onions, Italian bread, fruit cup
Tuesday: Lentil and black bean soup, egg salad sandwich, crackers, mixed fruit
Thursday: Jambalaya, zucchini and okra, brown rice, tossed salad, fruit cup, banana
Friday: Stuffed peppers, scalloped potatoes, mixed vegetables, pineapple cake
■ Hayden American Legion Hall

All lunches are served at noon. There is a recommended donation of $3 per lunch for those 60 and older and $6 for those younger than 60. A $30 punch card is good for 10 lunches for seniors 60 and older or five lunches for those younger than 60. Find detailed menus at rccoaging.org. Colorado River restoration project crawls forward as some environmental groups call for radical change
The Colorado River Water Conservation District at a board meeting Tuesday voted to give $1 million of their taxpayer-raised funds to help construct the Colorado River Connectivity Channel, which will improve deteriorated conditions at the headwaters of the Colorado River.
