10:35 a.m. Consent agenda items

Items of routine and non-controversial nature are placed on the consent agenda to allow the board of county commissioners to spend its time and energy on more important items on a lengthy agenda. Any commissioner may request that an item be “pulled” from the consent agenda and considered separately. Any member of the public may “request” any item to be “pulled” from the consent agenda.

A. Approval of county commissioners minutes: meeting of August 3 and regular meeting of August 4;

B. Approval of the state human service electronic benefit transfer in the amount of $219,065.39 Through July 2015.

Executive session may be requested under C.R.S. 24-6-402 (4)(C) for matters required to be kept confidential by federal or state laws, rules or regulations.

C. Approval of and authorization to reappoint Deanna Berry to the South Routt Cemetery Board with a term starting on January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2020.

D. Approval of and authorization for the chair to sign the memorandum of understanding between Routt County, Colorado and Colorado Amateur Radio Emergency Service Northwest Region

E. Approval of and authorization for the chair to sign the 2015 EMPG/LEMS 15EM-16-55 grant agreement between the state of Colorado DPS, DHSEM, and Routt County.

F. Ratification of approval and signature to submit the temple Hoyne Buell foundation grant application on behalf of routt county as fiscal agent for routt county early childhood council to benefit first impressions of routt county best practices program in the amount of $65,000.

G. Approval of and authorization for the chair to sign a resolution on Routt County’s statement on the Colorado water plan.

Discussion and consideration to approve and authorize the chair to sign chip seal change order #1 for an additional 2,745 square yards needed to complete the chip project on C.R. 53 in the amount of $8,842.22.

Public work session to discuss the county’s regulations regarding short-term home rentals and possible changes to these regulations.

C. 3:30 p.m. Cole/Moore Junkyard update; pe2001-012

Consideration of the cleanup at the cole/moore property.
