Routt County adoptable pets: Tater Tot the cat and Aspen the dog

Tater Tot, a nearly 4-month-old domestic shorthair kitten, is a sweet little boy who came to the shelter after being found all alone in a garage. Raised in a loving foster care home, Tater Tot is ready to find his forever home. He loves to play all day and then curl up next to his humans and purr himself to sleep.

Aspen, a 2-year-old Heeler mix weighing about 40 pounds, arrived at the shelter a couple of weeks ago after living on the streets of Steamboat Springs. He loves to follow people around, sit at your feet and is learning how to be a spoiled family dog. He’s never had an accident in his kennel at the shelter and is the king of keeping things nice and neat. Aspen loves to pile on top of all his blankets and would enjoy a patient, quiet dog experienced home where he can spend his days with you filled with long walks, naps and plenty of cuddles.
