Routt County adoptable pets: June the cat and Walt the dog

June is a sweet, domestic longhair, 10-pound, 4-year-old girl who loves to play with feather toys, paper balls and strings. June has never been around dogs, but she does enjoy other the company of other cats. June loves to cuddle with children and would rather their lap than anyone else’s.

Walter, also known as Walt, is a 2-year-old, 103-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix on the market for an active household with room to roam. Walt is about as sweet as they come and would love to cuddle up with his new family after a day of wandering around protecting his property. While Walt, as a breed, is a livestock-guarding dog, he has never been around livestock and has only ever been a house pet, so he would need a slow introduction to any livestock in his new home. Walt would love a job, a fence and to be the only furry friend in his home.
