Routt County adoptable pets: Hazelnut the cat and Tracker the dog

Hazelnut is a 4-month-old, domestic shorthair kitten, weighing in at less than 3 pounds. She is slowly learning who her friends are. When Hazelnut came into the Routt County Humane Society, she hadn’t had human interaction, but now that she has, she is happy to get a scratch behind her ears. Hazelnut loves to play with teaser toys and gobble up wet food. She is looking for a home that will be patient and let her continue to blossom.

Tracker is a 4-year-old, Heeler mix, weighing 50 pounds. He is all ears and smiles. Originally from Dinosaur, Tracker is ready to trade the red dirt for snow. He is very active, walks great on leash, enjoys the window down during car rides and loves a good romp with a dog friend. Tracker would love a big farm or ranch to help with chores. He is soft, spunky and silly and ready for his forever home.
