Routt County adoptable pets: Cheddar the cat and Ginger the dog

Cheddar the cat

Cheddar is a playful cat who is looking for a home where he can be the center of attention. He loves talking and cuddling with people. If you are looking for a new sidekick, Cheddar might be the man for you.

Ginger has been it the shelter for five months. She is a Routt County Humane Society volunteer favorite, and the nonprofit believes she would make a great therapy dog. She is a sweet, smart and loyal two-year-old Heeler mix. She is a smart cookie and already knows quite a few tricks, but she’s always eager to learn more. She’d love to snuggle up with you on the couch and get all the attention. Ginger would thrive best in a home as an only pet as she’s not too fond of other four-legged friends.
