STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Routt County 4-H Shooting Sports Completion welcomed 89 4-H shooting sports members age 8 to 18 on July 21 to 22 at the Routt County Rifle Club in Steamboat Springs.
Routt County qualified a record number of 33 competitors at Colorado 4-H State Shoot on Aug. 18 and 19 in Pueblo and Sept. 1 and 2 in Colorado Springs.
To raise money for travel, state qualifiers will help out at the Memorial Shoot on Aug. 4 at the Routt County Rifle Club, a family-friendly event where the public can come out to the range and try out different shooting disciplines such as archery, shotgun and .22 rifle.
