The Rocky Mountain Pickleball Championship Series is making its way through the mountains with a stop in Steamboat Springs for the Mountain Town Classic.
Hosted by Pickleball Hall of Fame inductee Kyle Yates, the three-day tournament runs July 25-27 at the Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Complex.
“The MTC isn’t just a tournament, it’s a showcase for how much pickleball has grown in Colorado,” said Yates, in a news release. “Whether you’re a player, a fan, or just curious to see what pickleball is about, you won’t want to miss out.”
Steamboat Springs will be the second of three stops this summer on the 2025 Rocky Mountain Pickleball circuit. The series begins June 18-22 in Littleton and concludes with the Grand Mesa Opener from Sept. 12-14.
At the end of the season, player points are combined across the three events to crown an overall Rocky Mountain Pickleball Championship Series champion for each skill level.
Athletes can learn more or register for the competition through RockyMountainPickleball.com/. No partner is required to compete.
“The Rocky Mountain Pickleball Championship Series is Colorado’s main pickleball event of the year, and we’re aiming to make it bigger and better than ever,” said Yates, in the release. “Whether this will be your first tournament series or your 1,000th, it’ll soon be your favorite.”
