Rifle Creek Golf course opens for season

Golfers in Steamboat Springs eager to get back on the golf course have a new option this week.

That’s because the Rifle Creek Golf Course will open for business this Friday, according to general manager and head pro Kyle Daniell.

“This is the earliest that we’ve been open in 25 years,” Daniell said on Monday afternoon. “We opened in March last year, but we’ve already opened to play and carts this year.”

Daniell said all 18 holes are open for play, and a round will cost players $1 per hole. For more information or to make a tee time, call Rifle Creek at 970-625-1093.
