Rescue Brew to benefit Routt County Search & Rescue

Mountain Tap Brewery will tap up Rescue Brew, in collaboration with Routt County Search & Rescue (RCSAR), at a winter launch party on Dec. 1.

Earlier this fall, RCSAR volunteers joined Mountain Tap’s brewing team to concoct a strong, hoppy double IPA. Mountain Tap will donate $1 from every Rescue Brew sold this winter to RCSAR. At the tapping party, RCSAR volunteers will be on-hand to talk with guests about winter safety, and to show off impressive rescue equipment.

Live bluegrass music will be provided by Sam & Kade. Everyone who attends will be eligible to win prizes, including a Free Beer For a Year punch card and a $100 dinner in one of Mountain Tap’s gondola cabins.

“It’s always our pleasure to raise money for our across-the-street neighbors,” said Mountain Tap brewmaster Rich Tucciarone. “These volunteers keep us all safe in the great outdoors, and we consider them our heroes.”
