Renowned photographer offers tips to capture fall colors
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Steamboat Art Museum is hosting “An Evening with Photographer Rod Hanna: How and Where to Photograph/View the Fall Colors” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the museum, 807 Lincoln Ave.

Cost: $15 to $20
Hanna will offer a travelogue of western Colorado along with some basic tips on capturing the beauty of this colorful and short time of year. He will share the best places on the Western Slope to capture this amazing color, from popular areas around Steamboat Springs all the way to the San Juan Mountains.
Collecting autumn photographs for his coffee table book, “Seasons of Gold,” he has been chasing the light in these areas for the past several years. The cost to attend the talk is $15 for museum members and $20 for nonmembers.
