Pilot & Today staff

The Steamboat Springs Parks and Recreation is hosting the annual NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition at 5:30 p.m. today at the Ski Town Fields next to the tennis bubble on the east side of town.

This free competition is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 15 and allows youngsters to showcase the talents in punting, passing and placekicking a football with scores based on distance and accuracy.

The top finishers in each of eight age groups at today’s competition will advance to a sectional competition in Littleton. Entry forms are available at the Parks and Recreation offices next to the Howelsen Ice Arena or can be completed by a parent or guardian at the event.

Participants are reminded that cleats are not allowed.
