Program provides free cervical cancer screenings

Steamboat Pilot & Today

Northwest Colorado Health offers free cervical cancer screenings to women age 21 to 64 who have limited or no health insurance. Screening tests offer the best chance to find cervical cancer early when successful treatment is likely. The American Cancer Society recommends women begin cervical cancer testing at age 21. Free screenings are available through the Women Wellness Connection, a program of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Women must live in Colorado and meet income requirements to qualify. For more information, visit northwestcoloradohealth.org/womenshealth or call 970-879-1632.
