1929-2001

Paula A. King, 72, of Cheyenne died Nov. 4 at United Medical Center-West.

She was born July 24, 1929, in Junction City, Ark.

She married William P. King June 14, 1953, in Longview, Texas.

She was a custom sewing seamstress.

She is a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern StarMizpah Chapter 36, Daughters of the Nile, Beta Sigma Phi, XJWC, longtime volunteer for the Girls Scouts and a Cub Scout den mother, former member of the Board of United Way, and Past Guardian of Job’s Daughters Bethel No. 39.

She is survived by her husband, Bill King of Cheyenne; a son, Mike King of Louisville; a daughter, Pam Leichliter of Greeley; a brother, James O. Lewis, Jr. of Longview; a sister Mary Ella Hardeman of Longview and five grandchildren.

Services were at the Schrader Chapel with the Rev. Jon Laughlin officiating. Cremation has taken place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory.
