Paid parking at Steamboat Resort base area will now be self-serve

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — All parking garages and lots at the base of Steamboat Resort will now be self-serve paid parking beginning Friday, Nov. 30. This includes the Gondola Square and Ski Time Square garages as well as the Lower Knoll and Base Club lots.

All parking lots will be monitored between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. and will have 15-minute complimentary parking. Drivers who have not paid the parking fee will be ticketed $75, which is administered through a third-party collection agency, not the resort. There will be pay stations in each garage and lot for guests to input their license plate number and pay the appropriate fee.

Guests soon will be able to use the ParkMobile app, which will allow users to pay directly from their phones. The app also will provide alerts when a paid session is expiring and lets users extend their parking time from the mountain without having to go back to the garage.
