3:18 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a report of a fight at a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Two men were issued citations for disorderly conduct.

8:17 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police determined the person was not suspicious.

8:25 a.m. Officers responded to an animal complaint at the Butcherknife Creek trailhead. A dog was running around off leash.

8:52 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a theft in the 2100 block of Resort Drive. A person ordered something online and said the package arrived empty.

9:06 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a theft in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

10:10 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters responded to a report of chest pain at a store in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive. A person was in pain after being in a car crash.

10:12 a.m. Officers responded to a report of wildlife at Maple Street and Amethyst Drive. Two bull moose were reportedly fighting near Spring Creek Trail. When officers arrived, one moose was laying calmly in the snow.

10:27 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1900 block of Hunters Drive. There was a disagreement between a private plow driver and a person parked in a driveway.

11:52 a.m. Firefighters responded to three requests to assist Steamboat Ski Patrol.

12:17 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden.

1:10 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a theft at a bar in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A person claimed he or she was overcharged for drinks.

2:10 p.m. Officers and deputies responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza. The two drivers worked out the dispute on their own.

2:18 p.m. Firefighters responded to a report of an overdose at Steamboat Resort.

2:44 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 40.

3:53 p.m. Firefighters responded to a report of CPR in progress at a bar in the 2000 block of Ski Time Square Drive. A person reportedly had a seizure.

5:07 p.m. Officers responded to a report of threats in the 1500 block of Skyview Lane. A driver got out of a car and started yelling at a man walking a dog.

6:48 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue and firefighters were called to help Ski Patrol with a search in the Priest Creek area of Steamboat Resort. Ski Patrol was able to locate a 19-year-old snowboarder, who had ridden out of bounds near the Broadway benches. Patrollers and the man, who was very cold, reached a waiting ambulance at about 9 p.m. Search and Rescue was not needed.

9:48 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a restaurant in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. Two people were fighting.

Total incidents: 64

  • Steamboat Springs Police Department had 32 cases that included calls for service and officer-initiated incidents such as traffic stops.
  • The Routt County Sheriff’s Office had 15 cases that included calls for service and officer-initiated incidents such as traffic stops.
  • Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue responded to 16 calls for service.
  • Routt County Search and Rescue had one call for service.
