STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Steamboat Art Museum played host to its first interactive Family Night at the Museum. The event was in partnership with Yampatika, Colorado Crane Conservation Coalition and Steamboat Lake State Park.

It centered around the museum’s current exhibit, James Morgan’s “Moments in the Wild,” featuring over 80 paintings by one of America’s foremost nature and wildlife painter.

There were activities for the whole family, aimed at teaching them about the birds and animals depicted in the paintings. Steamboat artist Jill Bergman leads a mural painting demonstration at the Steamboat Art Museum.  (Photo by Rod Hanna).
