This community conversation includes topics as varied as homesteading, ranching, farming, rural schools, community life and skiing.
This year’s featured panelists are Dennis Lodwick, a Routt County native who grew up in the Clark area; Nadene Utter Arroyo, who grew up in the Cow Creek area; and Verna Decker Whaley, who grew up in the Yampa area on her parents’ homestead. Marsha Daughenbaugh, executive director of Community Agriculture Alliance, will moderate the evening.
A social hour with the panelists follows the talk. This annual event is held in conjunction with Celebrate Agriculture Week, creating a night to engage with longtime local ag producers and add to the historic oral histories at Tread of Pioneers Museum.
